Paul - Known to everyone as ( Red ) - Club Chairman / Founder of the club. (message from him)
Having been in Stalybridge Motorcycle Club and then The Freedom Riders Mcc, I gained very useful knowledge
of what and how Mcc-s are run. From leaving the Freedom Riders, my wife along with a few others thought it was
time for a new club, first, where to meet - The Rising Moon Pub on Matley Lane seemed like a good start.
Then obviously came the name, then came the patches and this is where the story starts.
The Originals, Me n Tracy, Tony n Sue, Steve, John, and then came Martin n Tracy, Fred n Jackie.
A photo-shoot was organised to promote the club, so Friday afternoon, we got together at the pub, various pics
were taken then the photographer said to me, can I have a picture of you on your trike for my editor.
Not one to be camera shy, I did - later that week, full size in the local paper, a picture of me on my trike which
didn’t go down well with the other members (lol) - the club was born 11th October 2004 - by Jan of 2005 we had
over 50 members and have always had over 50 members every year since.
The Club is and always will be a family orientated club, with an equal share of male and females that all enjoy doing the same thing.
Foremost is the passion for Bikes n Trike’s, then comes the parties, rallies, rock nights and everything else that comes along with the biker life.
Over the years, we’ve had hundreds of members through our door, and sadly some have moved on, gone to start
their own clubs etc, and I wish them all well at what they are doing - life’s to short to have petty arguments.
Being in such a close nit club like ours isn’t for everyone and fitting in is extremely hard. We do try to involve
our potential new members in all our activities.
Always being the Chairman of the club from day one, with my right hand man for many years (Tony) until sadly
health reasons made him resign, then Steve took over as Vice Chair and played an active role both in and behind
the scenes of the club. Steve has sadly stood down on a temporary basis due to other commitments and will be back
with vengeance very soon. A few years ago, we formed an event committee, to help organise our party nights,
bike shows and of course the Rising Moon Rally - we changed this from an events committee to a club committee
after seeing the effort they put into the club - a group of people that are there in times of need.
The committee consists several guys all
dedicated to furthering the aims of the
club and helping out in all activities and
events.

So there you have it, a quick run-down of the club, a friendly bunch found at most bike rallies, parties, rock nights, bike shows and wherever we
end up - non political in any way - just a family orientated Mcc out for a laugh - we are an extended family and will remain that way.
We do have rules, like all the other clubs before us and maintain these to protect our club, its members and their families.
If you want an extended family in your life, a group that enjoys being part of the Biking Community, supporting Charities whenever we can,
partying hard, riding lots, then feel free to visit us to see if its what you want.
Membership is always open for like minded people over the age of 21 ( unless you have a relative already in the club) - Red
