The Rising Moon Mcc - Copyright 2004-2011 All Rights Reserved webmaster Red 2011 Sadly 2009 and 2011 were bad years for the club with the passing of 3 of our much loved, highly respected and valued club members. Patricia Whitehead  - sadly left us first back in 2009. This came as a massive shock to everyone as you can imagine. The club had never experienced the sad loss of a club member. We rallied round and give her the send off she rightfully deserved. The happy smiling face of Pat was not just done for the camera, this lady was like that all the time. Pat is often talked about by members and is very sadly missed. We know you are watching over us Pat, ML&R Gordon Nicholson ( Flash ) - Sadly taken from us in August of 2009. Joined the club in 2005 and remained an asset to the club till his sad passing. The party animal of the club, with his famous air guitar, his tendency to strip naked and climb marquee poles, a true beer monster and biker through and through. This guy could walk into a venue not knowing a single person and walk out with numerous friends. Flash - the name that sticks in all our hearts, a true friend to us all, ML&R Brian “Mog” Maguire - 2011, the start of a new year for the club, the sudden passing of Brian was a shock to everyone. A valued committee member and friend to all. This guy would do anything for anyone, a jack of all trades, known for his terrible tastes in music, his weak dishwater like cups of tea. Brian is spoke about on a daily basis, members feel he has not been taken from us, he’s just preparing the club in the sky for us all. Missed and Loved by all ML&R. The loss of a family member or friend to anyone is never easy to deal with, the loss of a mcc club member is even harder, these people you learn to trust, rely on, love, respect and care for as your own. We can not bring back what has been sadly taken from us, but we can make sure that their memories still go on in everyone of us. ML&R, Red.
