The Rally Summary
28th April 2008 by BigWing
So... how many of you enjoyed it ?The Wind, Rain, Wind, Wind and more wind! I suppose its what you made of it that counts .
The 2008 RMMCC Rally has come to an end, all the planning, checking, printing & more planning finally came to a close with a mega party night on Saturday.
The whole weekend was a buzz of entertainment from start to finish, The RMMCC supplied an array of music from glam rock to rave, reggae to motown, all enjoyed by a crowd ready to party.
Friday night welcomed back Riff Raff to play a set that was nothing short of pure genius, there sounds and lyrical talents had the dance floor rocking from start to finish.
Saturday had 2 bands for everyone's pleasure, although the afternoon band "Wasted" played to a near empty room due to what I can only imagine was everybody's over indulgence on the chemic the night before.
Our resident member Ian's band "Axe Attack" was up on Saturday night coming on with a barrage of classic riffs and armed with a radio mic he set about roaming the floor providing first class entertainment as usual.
We would like to thank everyone involved in making the Rally a success for the 2nd year running, to all the members for the planning and working of the event, to the bands for providing excellent entertainment, to our hosts The Austerlands Cricket Club, for putting up with us and providing top notch grub at an excellent price and finally to the guests, yes thats right you lot who bought tickets to attend, after all.. with out you we it would have just been another club party.
We hope everyone enjoyed the weekend, please pop over to our forums to have you say, tell us what you think about it, and criticisms are welcome, it all adds to an even better rally next year.
Until then, Ride safe & party hard
